Thesensorchipisfabricatedbyauniquefront-surfacebulkmicromachining technology, which result in smaller size and faster to response ambienttemperaturechange. TheIRwindowisabandpassfilterhavingcut-onwavelengthat5 m,andcut-downat14 m. ThesensorresponsesproportionallytotheincidentIRradiationandhasaconstantsignalresponseupto its cut-off frequency, which is limited by the sensor thermal time constant of tens millisecondrange.
